For as long as I can remember I have wanted to be a nurse. I love helping people and have always had an interest in medicine. Putting two and two together I came up with nursing. I also have an extremely unhealthy obsession with babies. I decided I wanted to be a neo-natal nurse. I applied to Ohio State and was accepted into the Pre-Nursing program. We had to take a survey class for our major during the autumn quarter. During this class they made us make a list of alternate options for our future if we did not make it into the Nursing program. You could choose to reapply the following year, switch your major at OSU, or transfer schools to a different nursing program. I was nervous that I would not make it into the program and had absolutely no clue what I was going to do if I didn’t get it. I was freaking out about the application for weeks and proceeded to wait until the night before it was due to turn it in. Luckily I got accepted into the program and I am looking forward to next year. I have heard that your sophomore year classes are really tough and time consuming. Also I was a little annoyed that I wasn’t allowed to schedule my own classes for next year. The College of Nursing schedules my classes for me and I have no say in the decisions. Ill probably get stuck with a horrible schedule full of night classes, but in the end it will all be worth it!
you'll get to be around babies all day everyday. dream come true for you!
