43.Presents

My most recent birthday was my nineteenth birthday. My family came to visit me at school for the day, which I loved. They brought me groceries and some presents that they thought I would like. My favorite presents were the ones that my siblings got for me. My little brother who is only eleven bought me a single red rose. It was adorable and I could tell how excited he was to give it to me. My little sister made me a scrapbook. It was definitely better than anything I could ever make. It had pages from when we were younger and pages from trips that we had gone on. There were funny captions and inside jokes throughout it. I could tell she must have spent hours on it. My oldest sister couldn’t come visit because she had an important project due the next day. She gave me parents a gift to give to me when they got here. My sister, who was stressed out with her project, found the time to make me a birthday dress. She is a fashion design major in the DAPP program at University of Cincinnati. The dress she made literally was amazing. The sides were made of a purple, blue and green pattern and down the middle was solid purple with a layer of black mesh fabric over top. The back fancy and if you pulled the straps a certain way, the dress would adjust to fit you perfectly. All of these gifts from my family meant the world to me.
